Clydagh Peafield Daisy is one of those rare few and far between ponies. Born in 2013 (7 years in 2020) she measures 138cm (13’2) and is of pure Connemara decent (Connie passport). Daisy is by Fiona ́s Man (Monaghanstown Fionn – Abbeyleix Fionn) out of Lady Grey (Murphy Rebel). On the sire side it is interesting to note that Fiona’s Mans sire Monaghanstown Fionn goes back to Carna Bobby both on the sire – and dam sides. Additionally Carna Bobby is also found on Fiona ́s Mans damside. Another stallion found 3 times in the pedigree is Ben Lettery (also a grandson of Carna Bobby) who in his own right is one of the great Connemara stallions of all time. On the damside we again find Carna Bobby twice. Murphy Rebel (dam sire) produced a lot of grade A show jumpers and performance ponies during his lifetime.

So far…
Clydagh Peafield Daisy has competed both showjumping and Cross country within the Pony Club of Ireland, including minimus competitions (max 1.05m including XC fences). She has done this very well.
This pony jumps with a technically very good and scopey jump. Height is no problem, she skips over 1.20. She has 3 lovely gaits and is easy going to ride.

In the stable..
Moving into the stable Clydagh Peafield Daisy is a true gem. She enjoys a good scrub and loves a bath. Daisy is also keen to come with you on your next adventure (good to load) and a new hairstyle YES YES YES!!! (good to clip). Obviously she is good with the farrier, tell me a cool girl who does not like new shoes! Last but not least cannot resist a treat and will come to you in the field and may check just in case you left some sweets in the pocket (easy to catch).
The future of Clydagh Peafield Daisy…..
This pony is a true star and needs to go to a human that intends to compete. She has what it takes to go all the way, no if’s and but’s. She is poetry in motion both on the show jumping arena and XC so the choice is yours. What rider is needed? This is a competitive pony, she is a comparatively easy to ride pony having said that jumping big fences takes a bit of skill so previous experience and a bit of courage is a good thing.
