Isichia

Connemara mare born in 2014. Measures 147 (we believe she will stay within the limits of a pony). She is by Derrymore Duncan – Drimcong Owen (Abbeyleix Owen) with Lecarrow Misty as a grand dam in who’s pedigree Carna Bobby appears twice. Carna Bobby appears in total an Amazing 7 times in the pedigree of this sporty mare. And yes! She is what it says on the packet! Bred to jump, sporty, correct height, good exterior combined with a brave but ever so gentle heart.

Canter

Isichia

Isichia is a well bred Connemara mare (to date not shown). She has been gently brought on for sport and is taking everything in her stride. She is progressing beautifully and she is ridden by a variety of riders including 10 yr old girls.

She has shown bravery across country and jumps a variety of xc fences. Hacks out alone or in company. Show jumps and does a very nice dressage test.

Flowy trot in a fab shape

Handling

This pony is a mother’s dream when it comes to stable duties. She loves being groomed, There’s never an issue washing, clipping, shoeing, loading or catching in the field.

Isichia and Lily ☘️

Future

Despite being a darling in the stable and very sensible to ride there is a competitive strike in this mare. She has the capacity to go far in both showjumping and eventing and we are very much looking forward to following her competitive career. Having said that she has got a retirement as a broodmare on the cards. It would be a shame not to savour her fabulous pedigree.

Peachy Pie

Loves to jump

Mare born in 2013, measuring 139cm.

This pony is just so much fun. She had a foal last year so had some time off but was brought back into work early spring 2019. Since then she has just proven to be such a sweet pony with a huge appetite for learning.

She moves with big flowy movements and has a deliberate, technically very good and scopey jump. Peachy loves jumping and she is not put off by anything. She has been to a few different places showjumping and xc schooling, we are yet to find something that fases her.

Stable manners

Likes a splash

Peachy Pie has lovely manners in the stable, she is a breeze to care for in all ways such as grooming, washing, clipping, shoeing, loading and catching in the field.

Future

Goes through water

We believe that Peachy Pie will turn into a fabulous competition pony especially eventing or showjumping. A perfect pony to bring on, would also suit riding school.

Diamond Clover

Diamond Clover – Bred in the purple

Diamond Clover is absolutely to die for! She combines the very best European blood lines via Burggraaf – Landlord, with the very best or Irish. You will find Diamond Lad on the damside of the Sire Diamond Graaf who in turn is by the king himself King of Diamonds.

On the damside and the oh so important “bottom line” you will find White clover who is by the other Irish Supremo Clover Hill.

Diamond Clover is born in 2015 and measures 16’2 / 165cm.

But what is the breeding without looking at the actual horse. This mare does not disappoint! She oozes quality and jumps for joy. Everything is just plain easy. Her technique is very good with scopey, careful and confident jumps. Her movement is equally good with 3 beautiful paces.

Education

Diamond Clover has been broken to ride over the winter and is now jumping a small course of fences. She is adapting to work very well and is keen to learn. This is a very focused mare with high rideability. She has been introduced to both showjumps and xc fences and nothing seems to faze her.

Future

Diamond Clover has the future in her hands. We believe she will go far in either showjumping or eventing. Due to her breeding and beautiful exterior she will always have a place as a broodmare.

Have you seen this!

Keep straight!

  • Girl and pony.

Dyfrdwy Jolly Joker

Gelding born in 2011 by Dyfrdwy Seryddwr – Dyfrdwy xx. Bred in the purple this Welsh Mountain pony has the stamp of a true to type pony well built through and through. He moves well with a good bit of action. Due to personal circumstances he has had the time of his life grazing away for the last few years and has now (spring/summer 2019) been brought in to start his journey to become a riding pony.

News

2019-07-03 JJ is now sold to Sweden and we wish his new owners all the best with this lovely pony.

Riding and education

Dyfrdwy Jolly Joker has now been brought in to start the process towards being broken to ride. He is taking to his new role like a fish takes to water. We have long reined through the local village and he feels very clever. Takes a look at something once then that´s ok. Traffic is no problem either. My 7 year old daughter enjoys grooming him and leading him around the field. Hoping to get to ride him shortly.

We have now been on board! No problems! We also lunged for the vetting and it went well.

Future

We feel that Dyfrdwy Jolly Joker has a great future as a kids pony. He will of course need some more experience, but he has the right attitude to suit. He jumps well so a competitive career is also on the cards.

20/7/2019 Yet again off to Bury Ditches and Cholstey wood. Beautiful hack and felt like fitness levels start to go up a bit. She is definitely fit enough for a competitive career. She though keeps her calm and is just soo lovely.
