In hand and under saddle winning Connemara pony  mare by: Gwennic de Goariva – Cornamagh Sadat.

This connemara pony is currently in Sweden and can be viewed near Stockholm.

Riding and Showing

This pony has been shown both in hand and under saddle and has won both. Ponies rarely come in a better package with a  combination of looks and a fabulous step and rideability. She cares for her rider and has that absolute star quality. Cheyene keeps her calm when out and about and is a dream to both ride and handle. At shows she knows how to strutt her stuff without getting hard to handle. This absolite Gem of a pony also has a great ability and mindset to jump, nothing fazes her. We continuously go to several different arenas therefore she is used to a variety of fences both cross country and showjumping.

Temperament

This is a very kind and stable pony. She is easy to load, clip, wash, lead etc etc. She is a real rock and has a very willing and ready to please attitude. we bring the ponies to all sorts of new environments and she remains the same pony, does not get over excited. Cheyene has been ridden regularly by 7 year old girl.

Future

This pony would suit someone interested in the Connemara breed. She would be the perfect broodmare or showmare. Cheyene is currently being ridden and is ready for new goals in her ridden career, jumping, dressage or eventing included.

Trailers!!!!

Trailers; trailers and more trailers!!

In the past i was the main agent of Ifor Williams Trailers in Sweden.

Ifor Williams Trailer HB511 in black
Ifor Williams Trailer HB511 in black

Looking back it was a fabulous time and I truly miss it. Life moves on and I have been busy with life, my herbs and horses.

The trailers are still there in my mind tough and I’m going at this job again!!! Slightly differently but still… I feel I have plenty to offer as I have a lot of experience both in the trailers themselves and in transporting horses.

This is what I offer!!

I can offer any British, Irish or French trailers, new or used with coc document, delivered to Sweden 🇸🇪. Best deals are to be had on new trailers. As I get offers best price may vary so send me a message and I’ll give you a price on your trailer of choice!! I do this in the opposite direction too!!! Anyone in Britain or Ireland interested in a Scandinavian trailer?! I can arrange that too!!!

What do I need to do with the trailer once in Sweden?

Firstly the trailer needs to be entered into the Trafikstyrelsen register. This is an easy process and only takes a few minutes online. You are then given a reference number and an application form. Print the form, sign it and send together with the coc document and the invoice stating the serial number of the trailer.

Direct link to Transportstyrelsen

Hejsan!

OBS!! COC dokument för Ifor Williams Trailers gäller enbart för full totalvikt. Du kan således inte reducera totalvikten.

Fill your new trailer with some lovely horses…

Jumping

n girl, it is a good thing if there is a grownup or older child available to school her from time to time (which really is true for any pony or indeed horse). She could also be a perfect parent child share or for riding school.

Mick (sold)

Gelding 148cm, born in 2011.

Mick, a potential show jumping pony,  is most likely a thoroughbred/ pony cross. This pony is alert and loves to please. There is great potential as he jumps with great scope and moves very well. He has shown that there are plenty to come and we believe he will do well both as a show jumper and an eventer.

Jumping

We are currently schooling Mick over both show jumping and XC fences. He is very honest and is a very fast learner. Our pony rider has been to a few pay and jumps with good results and will shortly start going to bigger shows with Mick.

Temperament

Mick has a very nice temperament and he is so very kind to handle. There are never any issues with grooming, clipping, washing, shoeing or loading.  Mick goes out in the field alone or with other horses, he is one of those that just float around without causing any upset and when you want him he is easy to catch. He travels well and keeps his calm when ridden in new places.

Future

We believe Mick would suit competitive teenager who would like to go up through the grades.

Jumping pony

Gelding born in 2007, bay, 148cm.

This is a fabulously positive jumping pony, he just loves life and lives to please. He definitely deserves the very best in life. He jumps tracks of 1.10-1.20 easily and can do a tidy dressage test.

Temperament

He is the kindest in the stable with lovely manners, keen to cuddle and loves a good scratch (good to handle in all ways including loading, clipping, washing, grooming and catching in the field).img_7552

We believe he suits someone who would love to compete and have rosettes to show for it. He could also suit ridingschool.img_7518

So to the catch….

There is possibly a trotter in the breeding somewhere which can be seen when the pony gets too much in a hurry. We have though seen that with a bit of groundwork this disappears. In any case it does not affect his ability to jump!

Update 10/05/2018

We have no consciously been working with Johnny to improve his gaits and his understanding of aids. This has proven very productive as he now almost never shows any signs of his previous trottery manners. This will no doubt continue to improve and has furthermore cemented our love for him. He is just such a tryer! Impossible to not love.

Lux Z Boy

Lux Z Boy a 5yr old (*2013) bay Gelding by Lux Z – Cavalier Royale 165cm.

Lux Z Boy is a real looker with his white blaze and deep bay colour. He continues to impress with fabulous flowing movements and a very scopey jump. In addition he is very careful and loves to clear his fences. Furthermore he rides in a nice outline and would do a good dressage test.

Jumping career

We always attempt to school over a variety of fences both show jumps and across country hence we go to a selection of outdoors and indoors venues with different fences. By doing this, Lux Z Boy is continuously subjected to a huge selection of “looky looky” fences such as water complexes, ditches, water trays etc etc. This is proving to us again and again that he is focused on the task and does not easily get distracted. The willingness to learn and the great trust in the rider makes his potential and scope for jumping and eventing very high.

Shows

This glorious horse has started his showjumping career very well.  He has already clocked up 16 SJI points to date. This feat has been done in very few shows.  We are currently jumping at 1.10m level and are looking to move up shortly. We are in no hurry with this horse as we believe there are great things to come. Following link brings you to his Showjumping Ireland page where you can find his show jumping results.

https://www.sji.ie/Schedule/Search/Animals/Animal-Results/key/tD17De0oWK5dl3Vxb__fOw%3d%3d

Temperament

This horse is an absolute saint to handle! Working with him and around him is a joy and it feels safe and easy. All aspects included such as loading, washing, clipping, shoeing, grooming etc, there is nothing that presents as a problem. He is also an easy catch in the field. Lux Z Boy is an alert horse that responds well but even though he has the necessary spark to shine in the show ring he still keeps calm and makes no big deal of going to shows or new places schooling.

Future

Showjumping is a given for this talented horse. However it is our belief that because of his versatility he would be very well suited as an event horse. During XC schooling he shows his bravery and straight forwardness along with great scope. A horse that takes it all in his stride and definitely has a huge talent for the sport.
