Showjumping horse with a great future

Trendy (gelding) is born in 2015 and is measuring 165cm. This beautiful gelding very aptly named is by the stallion Future Trend out of HHS Noble Charlton, a HHS BR Charlton mare.

Future Trend a black Oldenburg stallion himself a showjumper by I Need You who in turn is by the Selle Francais stallion I Love You. I Love You was competed to the highest level of Showjumping by American rider George Lindemann (later Norman Dello Joio) and he left a lasting impression on me and so many others with his pony-like, quick and very awake expression. You can definitely see this quick and athletic horse in Trendy. If you are looking at the pedigree of I Love You, you will see where the jumping comes from – Alme, one of the very greatest.

This is though not the only giant in the pedigree, the damside of Future Trend boasts 2 other greats namely Grannus And Argentinus both prolific producers of show jumping horses.

HHS Noble Charlton

The damside of Trendy offers another angle on jumping. King of Diamonds is found both in the sire and damlines. You will also find Cavalier Royal (Holstein) as a grandsire, he in turn goes back to another giant Cor de la Bryere. On the damside of Cavalier Royal there is another great in Ladykiller a stallion that can be found in a lot of sport horse pedigrees.

The pressure is definitely on!

With this pedigree Trendy should be able to jump and he certainly can! He is being brought on both over show jumps and cross country. He is very careful and jumps with great technique and plenty of scope. He is well ridden on the ground and is easy to control and turns on a sixpence. Jumps all types of fences and has plenty of courage. He is good to hack both alone and in company.

Perfect in all ways to handle too, including clipping, grooming, farrier, loading etc etc.

Future

We believe this horse can go far and would suit any rider wanting to compete. Definitely scope enough for juniors and young riders. Would also suit any discerning rider who wants a talented horse for training and a competitive career.
