Barana Hannah
Barana Hannah is a gorgeous Connemara mare by Royal Atlantic Star, out of Sky Lass 2nd, a Gwennic de Goariva mare. She is born in 2016 and measures 14’2 / 147cm. Royal Atlantic Star is a traditionally bred Connemara aimed at jumping ability. In his breeding you can find greats as Ashfield Sparrow, Carna Bobby, and Murphy Rebel. On the mother’s side we find Gwennic De Goariva, a pony that has competed at the very top level in France winning at Grand Prix level. In his breeding you will find Carna Bobby in a few places but also Carna Dun (way back in the pedigree), something that I find interesting because he was half thoroughbred which can explain both the size and the lightness of movement in this pony.
The future
Barana Hannah is a pony to grow up with, a pony to start out with jumping or eventing, well even pure dressage is on the cards. A pony that can evolve into jumping bigger classes. Hannah jumps with a good technique and scope; moves well and works in a nice outline. She loves to hack out both alone and in company and happily jumps any cross-country Fences that we may come across. This pony has a snaffle mouth, and no extras are needed.
Barana Hannah is easy to do in all ways including clipping, washing, and loading.
We believe this pony would suit someone starting their career in show jumping or eventing and are looking to excel. She also has the temperament to become a loved asset to any riding school.
