Barnaboy Stuart Little (sold)
On July 28, 2020 by adminA wonderful soul in a talented body
Barnaboy Stuart Little is a 16hh / 160cm gelding born in 2011 by Cottage Fire (also the father of ISH stallion Barnaboy Freeman who successfully competed at “old version” 3 star eventing with Cathal Daniels in the saddle). Mother of Stuart Little is Cregmore Flite (Select Mare) by Actium (French TB) out of Powerswood Purple (Class 1 ID).
Stuart is born and bred at the Barnaboy Stud and has grown up in the lush hills of Co Galway. The landscape has taught him to be surefooted and to feel totally at home on a cross country course. He has the hallmark Irish temperament calm, kind yet courageous and fearless.
Education of Barnaboy Stuart Little
This horse has so far mainly hunted and done ponyclub. He has been matched to do Junior Eventing and has both evented and showjumped within the pony club. He has done this successfully and was meant to compete at Eventing Ireland venues this year but due to COVID 19 this has not happened and his rider has now decided to hang up her boots to focus on other things (which has nothing to do with this gem).
Barnaboy Stuart Little happily jumps a range of fences both cross country and showjumps which includes fillers, water, ditches. He also moves with 3 nice paces and can do a great dressage test.
Future
This horse could be aimed at junior eventing or a competitive career in showjumping or eventing. He is an uncomplicated ride and would therefor also suit as an allrounder, hack (rides out alone and in company no problem) or as a riding school horse. Whoever ends up with this gentleman has a friend for life.
