Cookie ridden work
Cookie is an elastic and beautifully supple modern sport horse that is a pure treat to ride. He is well schooled on the ground and over fences. Moves effortlessly with 3 flowy paces and jumps with a good technique and plenty of scope. Cookie makes jumping look easy and his attitude is always positive and courageous. We have schooled this horse on different arenas and he keeps his calm in new places.
Breeding
The breeding includes many of the European Showjumping greats. Exsultates Des Hayettes has himself jumped up to 145 and his sire Mozart jumped 150 with Philippe Le Jeune (Belgium). Going a little further back we find Jalisco B, Nimmerdor and Libero H.
Silver Patriarch, himself a successful racehorse, won the 1997 St Leger ridden by Pat Eddery. Silver Patriarch is known for producing sensible, easy to do horses well suited for equestrian sport. He has been influential in both the breeding of racehorses and sport horses.
Cookie at home
Cookie is lovely to care for and is easy to do in all ways. Grooming, washing, clipping, loading and fetching in from the field is all breeze.
Future
We believe this horse has a bright future in Sport. He shows great talent and is easy to train and work with. Cookie is currently aimed at showjumping but would also suit as an eventer.
