Goodluck VDL – Coille Mor Hill (Sold)
On June 10, 2021 by adminGoodluck VDL – Coille Mor Hill gelding
This superlovely gelding by Goodluck VDL – Coille Mor Hill is born in 2017 and measures about 16’1 /163cm. He has a beautiful mixture of traditionally Irish (Coille Mor Hill is by one of the most well known stallions of all time – Clover Hill) and European bloodlines. There are plenty of the “greats” further back in the breeding such as Cassini I, Lord and Clover Hill and it shown in this spectacular gelding. He jumps with very good technique and plenty of scope.
Training
This lovely horse is not just eye-candy, he is easy and uncomplicated to ride and an absolute gentleman to handle in the stable. At the moment we are practising jumping courses and are mixing in cross country sessions. He jumps everything without hesitation and it is easy to find a good rhythm. He consistently works in a good shape and is keen to please. His temperament is very Irish, laid back and caring yet has the heart or a lion, nothing puts him off. This is truly one of those horses that acts as the perfect co-pilot – if you feel unsure he will sort it out.
In the Stable
This lovely, to date unnamed, horse is a dream to care for. He is kind, easy going and accepts everything from clipping and washing to loading and shoeing. Nothing is ever hard to do.
Whats next for this lovely young man?
We believe this horse would suit someone who would like to compete mainly show jumping or eventing (he may go quite far). Not just competing but also wants a horse to hack out with or just have lots and lot of equestrian fun.
