Lady Annabelle is an Irish Sport Horse (ISH) born in 2009 (fully ISH passported). She is by the Huntingfield Rebel stallion Oh Carol’s Rebel out of a Covers Diamond Boy (Diamond Lad – King of Diamonds) mare. On the bottom line we find the other Irish superstar stallion Clover Hill. Lady Annabelle has thereby got both King of Diamonds and Clover Hill blood in her veins. She is largely of the formidable breed Irish Draught which adds courage, sensational temperament, brilliant rideability and much much more. This mare does not disappoint.
Lady Annabelle – the horse
This horse has been whipping in in the local hunt and competed cross country as well as showjumping and hunter trials which she has won together with a young girl. This horse will do anything for you! She does not look and she does not spook.
In the stable
The temperament of this horse is second to none. She is kindness impersonated. Good in all aspects of care such as grooming, washing, clipping, shoeing and loading into a trailer. She is also good to catch in the field.
Future
We believe that Lady Annabelle is the perfect school mistress or junior eventer. She will give plenty of confidence across country and is a fabulous all rounder. She has scope enough to take you further up the classes in both show jumping and eventing as she also does a neat dressage test. If you are looking for a hunt horse, look no further, this girl will carry you safely over any fence and will be your source of fun for many lovely seasons.
When her active career is over there is always the breeding to fall back on with all those invaluable traditional Irish blood lines.
